HOUSTON CHAPTER

It is in the spirit of NOMA’s mission that the Houston chapter announces the inaugural Spotlight on Diversity Series. Through this forum, HNOMA seeks to create a platform to showcase the work and diversity of Houston architects. For its inaugural year, the Spotlight on Diversity Series will focus on the work of Hispanic and Latino architects working in Houston. Through this series, we will reach three audiences that will benefit from exposure to the diversity the profession has to offer; high school students, college students and the public at large.

Exhibit

Selected submissions will be included in an exhibit that will travel to different venues through the course of the 2010 program year. A reception will be held for the opening of the exhibit at 4pm on April 17, 2010 at Austin High School. The exhibit will then travel to the University of Houston in September, Wheatley High School in November and will close at the Houston Public Library Downtown Art Gallery in December. Dates, times and locations of the travelling exhibit will be announced through the course of the year.
